According to the Bible, there is only one right religion and doctrine, and they can be found in the kingdom of God. The first members of the congregation at the time of Jesus received four things: living faith, the Holy Spirit, the command to preach repentance and forgiveness of sins to the whole world, and the promise of eternal life in communion with God.

Since then, God has preserved living faith throughout the stages of history. Even today, there are God’s children on Earth, who believe according to the Bible. Protestant Reformer Martin Luther said about them: “I believe that there is upon Earth a little holy group and congregation of pure saints.”

Who can say that they belong to this “little flock”? Only those who have first received the gift of faith, the forgiveness of their own sins, and the Holy Spirit through other believers. Those who have received this gift have the authority to preach the living gospel to other people. Jesus said:

“Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.” (John 20:22-23)

Therefore, if someone would like to find peace through the forgiveness of their sins, they have to find other believers and the kingdom of God first. But how can they be found? God’s children preach the forgiveness of all sins in Jesus’ name and blood, following his command.

You can find believers from all over the world. There are many in the Nordic countries, where they are called ”conservative laestadians”. Different names have been used at different times throughout the history. Many live in Central and Southern Europe, in the United States, Canada, many African countries, Ecuador and Pakistan, amongst others. Jesus has promised that those who seek will find. God knows our hearts and hears our prayers and is able to lead one who is seeking to find His kingdom.
